About Us

Mitchell Bridges

Mitchell Bridges was founded by Peter Mitchell, who has been involved in engineering since 1970. In the 1980s, the company expanded into the events business and it became obvious to Peter that there was a real need amongst event organisers for top quality temporary bridges.

In order to expand their events and attract more visitors, the organisers found they could install a temporary bridge to access more land without having to move from established locations.

Temporary Bridge Suppliers

Mitchell Bridges has been building temporary bridges since 1988 and has developed into one of the largest temporary bridge suppliers in the world.

As well as providing bridges to some of the most high profile national and international events in the UK, Mitchell Bridges also works extensively with building companies and railway companies to provide temporary pedestrian and vehicle bridges during construction work.
